Willow's Stories

I live in a house in southern Butler County.  Over the years I've experienced numerous events that most people would shrug off as nothing other than a noise, or specifically something "non-paranormal."  However, the different events have been too numerous to dismiss as normal - and finally someone else other than the immediate members of the family finally witnessed an event that really frightened him.

The first notable experience occurred while I was attempting to take a nap in my first floor bedroom, alone in the house, I heard distinctive light footsteps coming down from the second floor.  I initially thought it was my very large cat coming down to join me in his favorite activity - sleeping.  However, as soon as I heard these footsteps, I looked to the bottom of the bed and he was already there fast asleep.  Within seconds he abruptly looked into the doorway to my bedroom (behind me) and his eyes followed something not visible to my eyes move across the room.

When my children were very young, my bedroom was on the second floor.  I could never sleep facing away from the door.  It was almost as if something was there as soon as I did.  That room has now become my daughter's room and to this day at 19 she has difficulty sleeping in there.  My son's room is across the hall and when he was around 10 years old, he claims he woke up in the middle of the night and saw an elf-like person peeking from around a chair in his bedroom.  He slept on the floor in his doorway for an entire year.
The particularly interesting factor to this is that my son is autistic and possesses very little imagination to conjure anything up much less a detailed description of this 'thing."

Over the years, quite a few pictures taken at any given time had numerous vortex like images in them. Always a smoky, well-formed swirl.

About 2 years ago, I was sitting in my living room and in my left periphery there stood in the hallway a full-sized young man with dark pants, dark hair and a white tee shirt.  He was peering into the room where we were watching TV.  His right arm was draped over the top of the basement door.  He turned and disappeared in the direction of the basement, no sounds heard.  Prior to this my son was sitting off further to my left on the stairs to the second floor.  After a minute or so, I called out to my son who I just assumed was the person standing in the hallway.  (I was checking on what he was doing in the basement.)  He immediately said "Mom, I'm right here!"  I explained this to everyone else in the living room and they all sat there with their mouths open with nothing to say.  They saw that my son had never moved from his seat on the steps.

Through the years, my bed has started to shake without anyone around, there is a feeling of not being alone in my room at night, and working in my basement office, I have often seen black images go by.  In the dining room I have a plant where the leaves start to shake without any air flow around it.  What has confirmed my experiences as something "para-normal" was last spring when my children's father was bringing my son home.  As he was coming up the outside stairs he could see into my living room window and what startled him was a man in a white tee shirt getting up off the couch positioned at the front window, turn around, and peer out the window like it wanted to see who was coming. Their father knew no one was at home.  As my son approached the front door, their father saw the shadow of this man through the drapes walking in the direction toward the front door my son was just entering. Within a second it was apparent no one was there. When my son's father asked pretty erratically who the heck was that...my son just looked at his father and said "Oh, that's just the ghost, I've seen him walking in the hallway into mom's bedroom."

So, that's my story.................Thanks, Willow
