Family's Hauntings

My aunt has lived in MANY haunted houses, I don’t know if it’s her or if it’s the houses, but she always seems to experience something. So my Mom, was actually telling me a bit ago about this house she lived in California, Apparently from what she has told me was that my aunt would wake up and always see shadows in her bedroom. As soon as she would turn to wake up my uncle they would be gone. She also would tell my mom about when she would be in the kitchen making dinner and she would feel someone behind her, they would put their hands on her arms and kind of nibble her ear like a husband would play with their wife. Thinking it was my uncle she would turn around and there would be no one there...*chills*
She would always hear the sound of someone sucking their teeth. She also would have the light turned off on her and the door shut when she would be in the laundry room. She used to ALWAYS call my mom crying. Now I remember that but never knew why until today.
There was another house that she lived in here that two people were killed, I don’t know if it was haunted before but I'm sure if it wasn’t it is now. Both of the deaths happened in the master bedroom, one was a suicidal man that shot himself with a shotgun, and the other was a military man cleaning his gun and shot his wife. My grandmother used to tell me that they went to clean up the house after it happened and that she always felt uneasy about it. My grandmother is VERY religious, and I believe everything she says. She told me on two occasions she would have someone SCREAM in her ear, like they were VERY close. She made my aunt sell the house and she's never been back.

Grieving Mother

We have a story in Texas, it’s a local legend about a woman in white we call "la Lorna" the woman who cries. The legend goes that she was a woman that got pregnant out of wedlock a LONG time ago, the man that got her pregnant didn’t want anything to do with her or the baby, so she had the infant and drowned it in the river. The story is that she haunts around bodies of water, mostly rivers, crying for her drowned baby. She apparently appears to children and women with children. Well I had a cousin coming back from a card game with my cousin Alfred that was like 9 or 10 at the time. She told me that she was driving on a dark road along Nueces river, and she saw something in the middle of the road, as she got closer she saw that it was a woman in white, she said that when she saw her, it looked like she had wind blowing her dress, she automatically knew who she was so she stepped on the gas. She told me she went right through the figure, and she felt a gust of cold air as she did that. She kept driving and she looked in her rear view mirror and she was right there by the back of the car. She has NEVER driven that stretch of road again.

There is also another story about a great uncle of mine that was hitch hiking back in the 60's. He was trying to get home from the bus station or whatever and he was walking along a dark road, he noticed a woman walking ahead of him so he tried to catch up. He finally got to her and the closer he got something didn’t seem right, He reached out to touch her shoulder and she stopped. She was starting to turn around and she vanished.

The Cockatoo Sees Grandpa

My grandfather built the house that my grandmother lives in now, all his grandchildren spent a lot of time there and grew up there including myself. He died a tragic death at that house, he was on a tractor on the back yard and it must have jerked violently causing his neck to jolt like whiplash, being a old man it jerked his head so hard it cut off his air passage and he collapsed, he fell off the tractor and was drug almost 500 feet by it. It was terrible. My grandfather had a cockatoo that was 20 something years old. His name was baby, and whenever my grandfather came home he would whistle to baby que sara sara, whatever will be will be. Baby would ONLY sing that song for my grandfather. After he died, my grandmother told me she was cleaning the house and she started to hear baby sing, he was singing que sara sara...my grandmother KNEW he was there, but didn’t want to look in my grandfathers room *they slept in separate rooms* She has said that she has seen him walking around the back yard. I told my mom to stick a tape recorder in his room, but she’s too chicken.
