Ouija Boards

I’ll start off harsh because there are no-good things to say about an Ouija Board. Demons jump to attention when someone attempts necromancy, for this is an invitation into your life and possibly into your body. Using an Ouija board opens a direct link, or portal, making you accessible to demons. There is no smart way to use an Ouija board, I don’t care how experienced or knowledgeable you think you are, you’re taking a high risk of inviting something into your home or your body that may never leave.

For those youngsters that think this is a fun party toy, trust me it isn’t! If you have already used an Ouija board and think that you have nothing to worry about because nothing bad has happened to you, don’t wait until it’s to late, get rid of it. It already may be affecting your life and you’re not aware of it.

When I was young, all I knew about an Ouija board was that I could contact spirits. Little did I know about how powerful these little boards could be in disrupting the peace in my life, and coming close to killing me. I’ll share a couple stories with you, in hopes it will be enough to deter you from ever using an Ouija board.

I started using the Ouija board when I was about 18. I had some really cool experiences with it too. I talked to someone that claimed she was a girl in a coma in Kent Hospital in Texas. I spoke with whom I thought were dead relatives of my friends. I received true answers from things that have happened in the past, but yet when speaking to the same spirit, they couldn’t give me true answers of the near or extended future. I know, because it’s 16 years later, and not one answer that the board gave me has been true. Could it be because they were demons?

After using the Ouija board for a few months, I started having horrible nightmares. Demonic faces would fly at me the moment I closed my eyes. I had times that it felt like something would land on me and paralyze me. I couldn’t move or talk, but I could hear breathing that didn’t belong to me. Anything that could go wrong in my life did.

I stopped using the Ouija board for a few years, mostly because I just forgot about it. I moved into a new home and I had a good feeling about this house when I moved in. I was completely comfortable living there.

One night a few months after I moved in, I had a small party with my friends. This wasn’t something rare, but this night someone asked me about my Ouija board, so I dug it out from storage and we sat around playing with it. It wasn’t long after that night that strange things started to happen. My answering machine would go off by itself, the water would turn on when no one was in the room, and you just got the feeling someone was watching you. All these things were sort of fun, and we used to poke fun at the “ghosts” that we thought were there. I never associated any of the happenings with the board.

Then one night my cousin came over and I pulled out the board. He had never seen one, nor did he know what they were for. I explained it to him, and he was excited to try it out. We were sitting there with our hand on the planchette (pointer) asking who we were speaking with. The planchette started going crazy all over the board, then spelled out Satan. We laughed and blamed each other, but it continued to spell out Satan. Now whether it was actually Satan I have no clue, but I was getting uneasy and was ready to just quit when my cousin let out a cry of pain and said, “that thing burned me.” He quickly showed me his hand, and every one of his knuckles were charred black and the hair was singed.

I didn’t play with the board after that incident, at least not for a while. I also didn’t stay in the house much after that unless I had a friend stay with me. One night I heard the most horribly evil voice yell something from the next room. I ran out of the house and refused to return that night. You couldn’t walk into that house without feeling a heavy pressure in your chest. Most of my friends refused to come over anymore. I ended up moving once my year lease was up.

A couple years later I was temporarily living with a friend while some arrangements were being made for my husband (boyfriend at the time) and I to move in together. Again, I had pulled out the Ouija board and my friend and I were playing with it. You’d think I would have learned and got rid of it long ago, but I didn’t, because I was stupid!!! Nothing really happened that night that we were aware of, but she eventually had to have her house blessed to get rid of whatever kept shaking her bed.

My husband and I eventually got the place we were waiting for, and I had a bunch of stuff packed in my little Escort. It was late one night and I was following my hubby home. I wasn’t very familiar with the road we were on, so I was staying fairly close behind him. Well he was comfortable with the road, and was going just a bit faster than I could keep up. He rounded a bend with no problem, but when I hit the bend I lost complete control of my car. It was almost as though something had control over my steering wheel and I couldn’t get the control back. I ended up going over an embankment and hitting a telephone pole that stopped my car from rolling. He saw my headlights swaying back and forth and came back for me. I was fortunate to walk away with only a few bumps and a bruised arm. We called friends and pulled my car out that night, and amazingly enough, I was able to drive it home.
The next day, I went out to the car to check the damages. I looked inside the car, and was extremely shocked to see my Ouija board pressed flat up against the back of my driver’s seat. I never even realized that I had put it in the car for moving. I took it out, bent it in half (because I couldn’t break it) and threw it in the trash.

These were just a few of the strange things that have occurred while using the Ouija board, but hopefully they are enough to make you realize they are nothing to be tampered with. I’m lucky nothing worse happened and I’m still around to tell the stories.
