Although this restaurant isn't known for being haunted, we thought we'd give it a try. It's has a history almost as old as Ellwood City itself. Located on Lawrence Ave. (main street) in Ellwood City, it sits next to where the old Majestic Theater once was. It has had a few previous owners, one being a hot dog shop owned by Mr. Deamus. Some people can picture Mr. Deamus standing in the front window making hotdogs.
We had a couple experiences. Two people witnessed a large shadow man in the bar that passed behind us headed towards the hallway to the front of the building. It passed twice in the same direction, so it's possible they were two seperate entities. A couple of our members also picked up on the names Sarah, Jillian, a name similar to an Ed, and a David.
Possible spooks may attract you to the place, but there are plenty of other reasons to stop by Olivers. Friendly and welcoming staff are more than happy to serve you, the food is great, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The manager Cindy, and the owner Carol are two of the nicest ladies, and they certainly have fun personalities! We had a wonderful time and lots of laughs on this investigation!

Natasha snapped a couple odd pictures on her camera, so I'll point them out here. Click on the thumbnail to enlarge it.
Many of the pictures in Nataha's slide show contain green glares on the wall that resemble a face. The introduction picture in the slide show contains one of these faces. We aren't exactly sure what's causing it. We tried going back to the area after we noticed it, to take more pictures, but still haven't figured it out. It could be the small round green ornaments on the yellow fish looking decorations in the box, or possibly the street light from outside reflecting into the window. Although the street lights were below the window.
In this photo, we can see faces in the mirror. The green is caused from a steet light outside, and I'm sure we're matrixing, but it's funny because the day after St. Patricks Day, we can see an evil leprechaun. This is image 1 in the slide show.
These were pretty interesting. They were taken in order. For some reason, probably because of the light in the background, only part of the picture is blurry. In the blurry areas, you can make out strange images. In the first picture, it looks like a face peeking around the wall. The second picture is clear, and the third looks like a hand or something coming from around the wall.

Video
I've finally reviewed all of the DVR footage taken. Nothing out of the ordinary other than quite a few dust orbs. Some had some really strange behavior, but I'm more than certain they were only dust.
EVP
Listening to my recorder, I picked up several different sounds. One was a response to a question I asked in the front of the building, but I accidentally deleted it from my recorder. I asked "Do you come here all the time?" and I got the response in a whisper saying "No".
This clip contains a quick interference. Don't jump, it's louder than the voices.
This is a whisper I can't make out, but it's definately a whisper that wasn't from one of our members.
The same EVP cut shorter
Carol and Cindy took my recorder to the basement. I just confirmed that the below whisper was not Carol or Cindy. Looks as though they had company when they thought they were alone.
