Mennonite Cemetery

Videos

This is a hunt we have planned in the near future. We went to check it out, and loved it. There are other places in the area we will also be investigating.

The Mennonite was actually a tip from the owner of a house we were orginally wanting to investigate. When we got to the house, it was occupied. We spoke with the owner and she was very friendly and gave us tips to other good spots we could hunt. Unfortunately, we could not do an investigation at her home. It was absolutely beautiful. She didn't want us taking pictures, but as we drove past, I did get a small video clip of the house. Click on the picture to view it.

We left the house, and went to one of the places she told us about. The Mennonite Meeting House/Cemetery.

This is what the sign in front of the building read...

Mennonites from eastern Pennsylvania began settling the Harmony area in 1815 and worshipped in the former Harmony Society meetinghouse or in homes until building this meetinghouse in 1825. The brick council room was an early addition: the cemetery dates from 1815.

The Harmony Mennonite meetinghouse is the oldest west of the Alleghenies and is believed to be the most original early Mennonite meetinghouse in the nation. Its design may have been influenced by the 1755 Hereford meetinghouse, Berks County, from which came Bishop John Boyer in 1816. Men entered the building from the front, women at the side: men sat on one side, probably to the right, women on the other side.

There is more on the sign, you can pause the video to read it.

Someone pointed out a hooded figure in the window at :52 at :54 you hear the Wav 2 evp that we hear as "Do It".

Update

We recently received an email from one of our viewers. She wanted to point out that in the above video something moves behind a stone at 1:16. Upon slowing it down, I see that whatever it is, seems to move in front of the stone as well. To me it looks like a black orb within mist. I've slowed it down, you can view it in the below clip. It's best seen at 200%.

Still Shots from the above video, keep in mind, the stone looks like a person, what we are seeing is around the center of that stone, not the stone itself.

Below are two wav clips I pulled from the orginal video. I'm not sure if they are evps, but they don't seem to fit in with what we were doing. Both sounds come just before you hear my voice.
