Mansfield This was our 5th trip to Mansfield. It dropped down to 29 degrees that night. It was a bit to cold for our liking, so the hunt wasn't as good as it probably could have been. We had a nice time, but didn't get much at all. Probably because we spent a good portion of the night sitting in the van eating, or huddled up to a heat vent. Photos
Video Turning up the contrast in Windows Media Player will help you see the videos much better. We didn't get anything visable on Video, but being that I didn't use a sound recorder, I'll be posting clips from the video that contain EVPs. There is one clip with no EVP, Read the explanation for it. This isn't an EVP, it's an area where my camera kept causing errors. Once my camera stopped making errors, Kevin's camera started making the same error sounds that mine made, yet he didn't have any errors on it. His camera isn't even the same model.
We get a lot of moans throughout Mansfield, this an example of one.
Sounds like La, lies, or love. Can't make it out. We kept getting black pictures when this sound occured.
Before I uploaded this to the computer, you could hear a child say mommy, but for some reason I can't hear it anymore. It was after Val asks for a child to play with us. She asks this because a bottle cap (old fashion milk bottle cap?) fell in front of two people that were also there. You can also see an orb flash in the center of the screen just below the cap. This would have been about the time you could hear "mommy". The door squeak sound is not the evp.
Wendy gets hit in the chin with something that felt like a cold hand as we were walking through the top row in the cell block. 3 of our members saw Scott, a tour guide, standing several feet in front of us watching the whole incident. Yet after she explains what happens, "Scott" isn't there anymore. We rush down stairs, to find the real Scott coming from the opposite side of the building with a group of people. He swears he wasn't up there. Scott, Valerie, and I rush back up to see if we can find anything. I get this EVP in the same area where Wendy was hit, or possibly on the opposite side in the same area. Scott says, there are seven of these in existence, and you hear a whisper say "seven of 'em."
Val asks "Art, did you kill your wife" and we get what certainly sounds like a female singing. The growl sound after the singing is a loud car in the distance. Also, the first shadow to cross my camera occured just as the singing started. I didn't have my hand in front of the night shot until I was checking to see what caused it.
