Lady of the Lake Bed and Breakfast Lady of the Lake bed and breakfast is a lovely place located on 60 acres of land surrounded by woods, located in Ligonier right off of route 30 just past Idlewild Park. The large lake on the property attracts many geese and swans, making it even more relaxing and enjoyable. Many guests have reported hearing voices and knocks, seeing shadows pass by through the corner of their eye, hearing their name called, and just getting that gut feeling they weren't always alone. Although to some people this sound unsettling, it's not something that sends guests screaming into the night. The "ghosts" of Lady of the Lake aren't there to scare you, they just love it as much as anyone that visits the place would. The following Evps and Video are from everyone that went on the hunt. We were there with the Compass Team, so I have also posted several things that they have sent me. There is still more to go over... keep checking back.
Photos
Video Turning up the contrast and/or brightness in Windows Media Player will help you see the videos much better. This was shot between 5 and 6 am. Everyone on the investigation was sound asleep. You may not be able to see it very well because of the lack of clairity compared to the orginal file. But if you pay close attention you'll notice at :13 you'll see a shadow pass by Bob's IR light on his video camera that was located in the kitchen. This is one large clip made from several smaller clips. I did it this way because everything here occured within about 15 minutes. The video is marked with the sounds and voices you should hear. This clip contains the loud bang we heard in the kitchen about a minute after we asked for a sign.
Bob from Compass Team sent me this video clip. You can hear creaking footsteps in the kitchen, and no one was awake at the time this occured. It would have been very close to the time the shadow abover occured.
EVP Some evps are taken from digital recorders, some with video recorders. They are also different format,. .wav, mp3, and wma. This happened about 10 seconds after I said Bam and Wendy and I giggled. You hear a whispered "Bam." Although I feel it may be one of us, no one remembers saying Bam.
We got several small knocks or thumps. I'm not going to post them all because they all sound pretty much the same. Here is an example of one, it happens at :06.
Not sure if this is actually a train whistle, but the closest train is 12 miles away. There is a small train at Idlewild park about a mile away, but it definately wasn't running at the time.
These were taken in the room at the top of the stairs while I was alone. Melissa and I were trying to recreate a walking sound that she had heard coming from upstairs while she was in the downstairs bathroom. I ask her if she's in yet (the bathroom) and on the tape you hear "No" Shortly after that we are finished with the recreation of the footsteps, I start to head out of the room and pick this up. There is more before the word attractive that we can't make out. It starts at :08
This was picked up when I was in the kitchen talking to Bob's wife and her friend about feeding the donkey owned by the B and B, I have no idea what it says, but it sounds like whispered words to me and no one was whispering.
As we were all finally settling down, I asked if someone could please give us a sign that they were there. A few minutes went by and a couple of us began to doze off (I was one of them). We hear a LOUD knock come from the kitchen that startled some of us. Several of us got this on our digital recorders, I also have this on Video. This clip is from Melissa's recorder.
Bob from Compass Team gave me this evp. About 3 minutes after we all hear the LOUD knock in the kitchen he picks up a whisper and whistles on his digital recorder. Many of us heard the whistles as they happened.
These are also from Bob, Two different files where we can hear a "Hey" whisper. Listen closely because they are very faint.
Another file from Bob, We're unable to make out the voice, and it may be background noise.
This is Bob's son asking a question. Again it could be background noise, but the first response sounds a bit different.
This isn't an evp, this is Bob's overly tired wife getting a little frisky and Bob caught it on tape. He's claiming this to be the new ghost hunting slogan. LOL
