All The Same
Time to die, come knock on my door,
hand in my ticket, life no more.
Fought the battle's yet lost the war,
here i lay dying, peaceful floor.
Sounds so piercing, ears to bleed,
visions darkening, rotting weed.
Shadows crying, death they lead,
a comfort yearning, peaceful need.
Winter's shiver, Summer's rain,
nothing changes, corrupt by pain.
Autumn's colour, Spring's refrain,
nothing changes, all the same.
Each waking hour, cries be loud,
skies above us, darkened shroud.
Demons dancing, none too proud,
Of choice to die, break free the crowd.
Broken spirits, broken wills,
fill inside me, coloured pills.
Dove's afloat, of peaceful trills,
send me high, o'er misty hills.
Winter's shiver, Summer's rain,
nothing changes, corrupt by pain.
Autumn's colour, Spring's refrain,
nothing changes, all the same.
Ghostly bygones, memories fade,
innocence then, now darkened shade.
Evil lies here, this bed it made,
tattered pillows, mattress frayed.
No more torture, heart does stop,
from this life, all fears to drop.
Send me now, on beams atop,
to peaceful sleep, legless hop.
Time to die, come knock on my door,
hand in my ticket, life no more.
Fought the battle's yet lost the war,
here i lay dying, peaceful floor.
